Our Goals

Our goal is not only to continue growing and expanding the farm and agriculture programs in our community. It is also to be a guiding light all can use to emphasize the importance of agriculture and farm to table programs in our children’s education, our community, and our lives. We strive to be a platform for small farmers all over Georgia!

Supporting Local Meat & Dairy Farmers

At MAESFRMMKT, you will find many local farmers and be able to purchase fresh, local processed beef, lamb, chicken, rabbit and goat milk, goat milk soap products, and even many local dairy cheeses for purchase. We hope to continue our efforts in providing a platform for these farmers to be supported.

Produce Farmers

Our market is hosted in the spring so it’s not too far from winter which means there isn’t much time for our vendors to harvest a substantial amount of produce. However, we hope to continue to our efforts in getting their names out there and providing connections to local produce farmers so the public and farmers can support each other throughout the year instead of the community purchasing through large chain groceries. There’s plenty of local produce to go around!

Supporting Local Restaurants & Small Businesses

As we continue to grow, we see more and more restaurants and small businesses wanting to join but especially now, due to Covid, labor and product shortages make it hard for them to commit to an event like our market. There are many small businesses and local chefs at our market and we are honored to provide a place for them to get their name out there and sell their product. For our 2022 market, we hope to expand our culinary vendor list with many more local chefs!
